So... the major holiday game releases start next week with Batman:AC. Lots of great games on the way in Oct/Nov/Dec. Anything you're really looking forward to? Your top 3?

I'll be getting Batman:AC at Kmart Tuesday morning. They're giving a $30 gaming coupon and free t-shirt! I'm also really looking forward to Uncharted 3. Not usually a fan of 'cinematic' modern gaming, but the first two Uncharteds were amazing. I'll probably grab Ult. MvC3 at launch too if there's any kind of launch week discount/promo.


Also, for downloads, I'm really looking forward to Journey on PSN. Maybe more than the retail games. Could be something unique and amazing...

As for disc releases:

« [PS3] Ico/Shadow of the Colossus HD Collection (even though i have both originals on PS2 )

« [360] Battlefiled 3 - especially after i played the single player campaign last week

« [PS3] Uncharted 3 - the best of Indiana Jones (of old) and Tomb Raider put together (and besides, how can i possibly say no to that awesome Collectors Edition )

In any case, i can't see any upcoming game take much gaming-time away from MAG

Hey,PS Vita lauches Dec. 17th with 26 titles in Japan!!

I'm very pleased with my PSP, 16GB memory card filled mostly with memories, hope Vita brings more of the same, there is so much variety that no matter what mood I'm in there is something on there that I want to play.

Yeah,same here,man!Except, I'm using a 32GB stick in my 3000. Yes,a 32GB stick!! It's a two stick (16GB × 2) Micro SDHC adapter one.Pretty cool one too. I still have 12GB left to fill.

The PS1 RPG's are the big ones it seems I"m sure at some point I'll end up with a 2nd card just dedicated for RPG's , my Shooters, fighters and puzzles on the other one..

Looking forward to Vita though love portable systems , all of them, but best library resides on my PSP right now.

I can only assume your PSP has custom firmware with that memory card being full of Genesis/Mega Drive ROMs as I don't believe Sony has released enough quality games to amount to 16GB worth of data!

Nope stock firmware and all titles downloaded directly from the Sony store, the NEO GEO (metal slug anthology ) and Street Fighter Alpha port alone are enough to have me reaching for it more then my Nintendo DS. There are few titles on there that ate up a good chunk of the stick like Final Fantasy 7 and the Command and Conquer series, majority of the downloads are between 200-300MB, I do have the Genesis collection but haven't logged that much time into it yet.

My DS still gets plenty of play time as well still plenty of life in it but I'm not sold on the 3DS yet, can't tell you why other than I walked away from playing it for 10min with a massive headache.

It had an Oct. 11th release date and I've not seen it in the wild yet.I was in GameStop and forgot about it coming and didn't look for it.

It takes place 100 yrs after the Aliens movie ended.Looks neat.

However, I reckon we'll be seeing a 'new' Microsoft PC Console Xbox iteration pretty soon anyway to try and remedy such issues (surely M$ have a high capacity storage medium in development to counter BluRay?).

Rage isn't the only game for that system to come on three DVDs either - so do the likes of L.A. Noire and Final Fantasy XIII. Maybe they'll resurrect HD-DVD for the next-gen Xbox?

I just bought CoD: Modern Warfare 3 (PS3) for only £25 as part of an offer where you need to purchase a PSN (or XBLA) points card to receive the discount. It's the first CoD game I've bought since CoD Modern Warfare.

Looking forward to the Vita. Not really overly impressed with the rest of the holiday season releases.
