It's not really news or anything, but this is an amazing technical feat considering the hardware limitations of the Channel F.

Totally agree. I first saw the footage several weeks ago and was very impressed with how far a small group of hobbyists had managed to push the hardware. Great stuff. smile.gif

I KNOW VERY LITTLE...
about the Fairchild. so I had to watch a little back catalogue of titles on YouTube, just to put this homebrew PacMan into the proper perspective. And based on what I saw, YES!... this is very impressive indeed. It's always great to see PPL squeeze more potential out of any ageing hardware and this is a great example.

I wonder if I 'll get to play it at the next R3PLAY? wub.gif

I didn't know about the Fairchild until I saw this Pac Man version. When I read about the system and its capabilities, I was quite impressed with the achievement!

Yes there was. I have it and it plays pretty good. It is called Jagmania. wink.gif
