live and we will close the show with a Q&A.

Sounds neat Dan.

I will have to check one out sometime. Course Superbowl Sunday is a bad time for me. But if the game is a blow out by 8pm I will have to check out your stream.

I popped over to your site and an old video started playing, but it seemed like 2-3 minutes of you fiddling with settings. So I didn't watch long enough to see if it went anything beyond that.

Club news
video ad(either VGS or another video submitted by somebody)
Game of the month
Events lists
Q&A
(special shows will have different things(these are the shows thatI do at conventions
I was going to do a special at MGC but being that it's so close, but a plan is being worked on for VGS)

Be nice if you could edit the stored videos to get right to the meat and potatoes.

Dan Iacovelli
we had some techincal difficulties with last nights show(mainly with me not changing the input format back and forth)
but I did redo the tempest 2000 game play part(I'm going redo gameplay of tempest traditional and plus as well)
Also I added a new title graphic to the page(both AVC online and ustream.tv) I should be having the show styndicated to youtube soon as well
Tempest Traditional was done last night and saved on AVC Live as well(plus will be done either tonight or Tomarrow)
currently working on getting the segaments up on you tube.

guests who will be calling in: via our voice mail # we have Todd Rogers and via Skype we have Walter Day the guest segemts is

well it appeared that the two people who were watching the vidcast last night
had some trouble with the game show portion.
though it worked my side.
if you want to see what it's like go to playcafe.com tonight at 8pm
(you have to sign in if you want points and win prizes (like a wii or a $1000))
I play this every night mon - fri it loads of fun plus you can form teams as well
(if your chat room is working at playcafe you talk to others players,it's been having troubles for me and
a few others)
As Game Cafe(my show) last night was just a dry run, sort of testing the waters. Next month
Game cafe will be back in full force, with lot more questions to test your gaming knowledge plus you might
win something.

some minor news concerning VGS 09, Announcement about our upcoming Cover design contest(these are for the Jagfest issues at cafepress.com as well as the for the program for VGS in 2009) game of the month will be on hold again,so in it's place will be video from 2008 VGS,I finally got the dvd from Todd F,who was kind enough to help me out with certain aspects of the show(printing out the programs, and watch the entrance table as well doing the video)
I'll post again to let you know the show is on.

A quick update: due the fact the Playoffs are taking up most of October, I decided to postpone the next broadcast til Nov.
what I will do is this for nov, instead of just doing 1 show I will broad cast two shows one on first sunday of november
the other will be before thanksgiving.
(btw: you might want to check out AVC Online durring this month for some news on our new contest(it will be mentioned in the AVC Online Thread here too)
Dan Iacovelli
just bumping this topic to let you know our next AVC_live show is this sunday at 8pmCT.
I plan to have a surprise in place of the game of the month(I'm not saying what it is,but it has been mentioned on AA(and JS-2) and it's a video.)
(our regular game of the month will return in Dec, we do plan to do 2 shows as well durring that month as well(our regular show (1st sunday of the month)
and second one most likely sunday before New years eve))
we will also have some club news as when to expect the AVC Online website to change, plus cover design contests.
Dan Iacovelli
I see haven't updated this in while.
well just to let you tonight marks our 11th show and it's our recap show
(we had planned to do show 2 weeks ago,due to me getting a bad cough(still have it),
I had to cancel)
anyways, the recap show will go through all our game reviews we did in 2008(including our first 2,laserman 2k3 and laserman)
our special guests from twin galaxies. plus some news from the past and news on the future.
this will also mark the last time for the use of our Voivemail number since AOL is dropping thier voice mail.
I'm working on signing with grand central next year to fix that.
Dan Iacovelli
quick bump: AVC_live will be on Jan 4th at 8pm CT(http://ustream.tv/channel/avc-live-podcast)
what you expect to see: winner of the jagfest issue #3 cover contest announced(some news about the website and VGS
and the return of Laserman(no major changes to game just a different end screen mostly)
as mentioned before we won't have voice mail for callins but anybody with skype and/or yahoo IM are welcome contact me via voice that
way.
Dan Iacovelli
a quick reminder:
due to the superbowl being on this sunday AVC_Live will be on Feb 8th at 8pm CT
We will announce our plans for MGC and VGS as well announce the winner of issue #4
of the Jagfest cover design contest and show the cover as well.
Or game of the month will a Jaguar game(to be announced at the show)

Dan Iacovelli
first of all, for those who missed the show last week, it's still playing till march 1st(when we have our third show).
and second as we come to the middle of the year it's almost time for another for me to do an interview.
and this brings up a question who would like to have on the show?
last year we had Twin galaxies on,this year I would to interview people who gave to Jaguar community:
obviously our Jason smith come to mind first, then maybe vi-master and maybe Carl Forhan of Songbird productions.
if you have any other people you would like to have as a guest on future shows let me know.
(Guest segments might be live or recorded depends how they want to set it up)
Dan Iacovelli
a quick heads up: AVC_live will be broadcasting live at MGC direct from the Jagfest section(this will be on both days)
so be sure to watch to see some great Jaguar items from songbird and goat store. (plus AVC Online will be showing off the Jagfest issues
and we will also discuss Jagfest issue #7 as well(and maybe the return of the Tour shirt that debuted at 2007)
On another topic for the show: after the special show I would like to line up a few guest interviews for the shows after words(april and maybe may)
see my post above.for people I would like to be on the show as well as details.
Dan Iacovelli
we are live (got in at 10 am)
Dan Iacovelli
The April 5th edition of AVC_Live will have something new added: Jaguar ADS.
I just got my copy of Jag ADS 2.0 (as well as Jagfest'99) for the jag cd.
So sometime before we start the second hour a Jaguar ad will be shown(which one, well that will be a surprise)
Also we will be showing a slide show of pics taken from MGC'09(Game of the month will be postponed till next month)
and Hopefully we will announce the winner of issue #6 design cover for the Jagfest issue

quick bump:
a week from now is our next broadcast of AVC_live.
as of now we won't be having a guest on the show.
I was trying to 3D SSS on the show, but they haven't responded (hint hint)
hopefully before VGS or after VGS we will try to get them on.
in the mean time, besides some exciting club/fanzine news and VGS news
we will have our regular games(that what I said games) of the month
first going along with JHSC:if breakout is chosen that will be our first
game(if it isn't, I will choose a new one at random)
our second game we will actually try something different:
I'm looking at least 6 players who have Madbodies for the Jaguar
and either a webcam or a tv card connected to the PC.
here's why:
besides a ustream account I also have a Stickam.com account
at Stickam I can up to 6 people in a video chat.
now I had thought about this when madbodies came out
and posted this on AA under the Jaguar High Score Club Thread(Mad Bodies topic)
so here is what I want to you do:
send me a PM if you have either a webcam or tv card along with mad bodies game
the subject of the PM is: MadBodies sign up
include your e-mail address in the Pm
what I would do is send your an invite from stickam account
once you approve it I will send you a pm with details
and scheduled time of game play.
before we play next week I will set up a full list of rules
to play(as mentioned there can only be up to 6,but if Iget more then
6, I can have other players in text chat, to wait their turns til a player
in video chat dies and have the text chat player go to video and visa versa
This is just for fun,as I'm testing it out and see if I can do this, when we get bugs
out other games of the month will be used for this and then I'll prob award a GC from the news stand.

quick bump:
a week from now is our next broadcast of AVC_live.
as of now we won't be having a guest on the show.

It would be fun to participate in the madbodies thing. I'll see if I can swing it.

send me a pm as I stated and I'll get back to you.
(you might need a stickam account,I will let anybody know when I send the information)

Yeah, if I find out I'll be able to do it, I'll PM you and await further instructions.

no worries, this whole thing might not even happen if Idon't get enough people
if that is the case I will just do it at stickam and hopefully people will join in.

ok, tonight is the night for the first ever AVC_Live Game of the Month High score Contest.
the scheduled time is set for 8:30pm. if you want to take part in it send me a pm before the show (at 8pm)
we will start the video cast at ustream as usual then around 8:30pm we will move to Stickam.com for the
contest.
since I didn't get any pm's for the HSC I set up a page with the basic Rules:
http://avc.atari-users.net/index_files/GOMHSC.html
(I don't know if you need a stickcam account so we will see tonight)

I knew I forgot to update a thread some place doh.
well last night was our last video cast of 2009.
I showed some clips of past games of the month
and talked about some news from the past and some news
about the future.
the game of the month was Fight for Life and it's currently now playing on the ustream and video cast page
on AVC online. (along with last months games of the of the month)
expect news on the new format of the show for 2010 on Dec 27.
