HEY GUYS...
this isn't the kind of topic I would usually generate as I'm more of a collector/buyer as opposed to a seller. However, a chap I know on another forum has recently shown considerable interest in the Atari Jaguar and, indeed, an interest in acquiring a console. He enquired as to whether anyone had one to sell and, although I had NO plans to relinquish any of my Jaguar goodies, I figured that I do have a spare unit and some 'lesser' condition duplicates I could put his way. I decided to respond to his plight with details of my items and we are now at the point of negotiating an exchange - on the basis he has something(s) of interest. I'd like to help him out, and into the world of the Jag! However, I obviously don't want to 'out do' myself in the process, as I have no real reason to want to SO... I just wanted a 2nd opinion (from you guys here, @JS2) on what you think the realistic and fair worth of the following items are that I am offering him: 1x Boxed Jaguar (PAL) - Console in V.good cond - Box in Average cond (5.5/10) 2x Controllers The following carts are all in perfect condition: 1x Raiden (Boxed - Average cond box 5/10) 1x Flashback (Boxed - V.Good cond box 8/10) 1x PDRally - 'original' artwork variant (Boxed - as new, but shop soiled box i.e. below average due to heavy creasing 5/10) 1x Trevor McFur (Boxed - Good cond box 7/10 - no overlay) 1x Kasumi Ninja (Boxed - above avg cond box 6.5/10) 1x Unboxed Tempest 2K 1x Unboxed Cybermorph (no overlay) In £'s... what do you guys think? I really appreciate the input btw Cheers guys! This post has been edited by NeoGeoNinja: Feb 15 2012, 06:24 AM |

WELL...
thanks for help guys I'll be sure to ask elsewhere in future when I need a simple idea of a fair price on a console and games, so obscure and unknown as *wait*... The Atari Jaguar! I mean, seriously... ? |

I 'finished' my Jaguar collection a couple years ago and haven't watched prices since then... esp. UK prices.
Completed auctions on ebay is usually the best guide for current values of common games. This post has been edited by tomwaits: Feb 18 2012, 07:17 AM -------------------- |

I would say you could ask for something between £150-£170, depending if he´s a good friend or not.
Anyway that sum I´m telling you is aprox, the best you can do is to look for finished auctions like Tom said. |

I'd ask $150 US for that lot.I don't know what that is in Pounds or Euros now, man.
Just figure what you have in the stuff and if you want to give him a good deal that isn't "highway robbery" to a fellow Jag enthusiast. -------------------- Older than I used to be

The following are my estimates for if you sold them separately:
£35: 1x Boxed Jaguar (PAL) 1x Controllers 1x Unboxed Cybermorph (no overlay) £15: 1 Controller £12: 1x Raiden (Boxed - Average cond box 5/10) (that's what I paid for this a couple of months ago) £15: 1x PDRally - 'original' artwork variant (Boxed - as new, but shop soiled box i.e. below average due to heavy creasing 5/10) (I paid £10 for unboxed mid-last year) £14: x Trevor McFur (Boxed - Good cond box 7/10 - no overlay) (what I paid late last year) £12: 1x Kasumi Ninja (Boxed - above avg cond box 6.5/10) (I paid about £8 last year but that was in a bundle) £20: 1x Unboxed Tempest 2K (I paid that for a boxed version couple of years back but prices seem to have risen) Not sure: 1x Flashback (Boxed - V.Good cond box 8/10) So I'd say probably around £115-125 all in. |

WOW! COOL...
thanks for all your input guys Sorry to seem a bit 'off', but it was a pretty poor show initially, don't you think? In particular, averybluemonkey... thank you for your estimates via itemisation. Very nice! Interestingly, I also estimate that I think altogether, it's worth around £125 all in. But like has already been mentioned, probably do it all for £100 to help out Cheers guys |

It's a lovely little set to get someone started on the system, so fun when people discover the Jag |
