I have won this disc. It was only 128.00 euros (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) or $167.00 USD + shipping. Quite the expensive CD this is. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I understand it's just static pictures of the CGE 5th show w/music on a slideshow program. But what makes this high priced is there are only 60 official copies of it worldwide. Jaguar collectors want it, damand seems to be high while supplies low = $$$ - simple. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I know high quality static pictures are possible on the Jag so I hope these are good quality. Tursi made a slideshow of his vacation(20+ pics) to run on the Skunkboard, it's only 6MB - was to test the Skunk.

I want to learn how to convert a HQ static picture for the Jaguar to display(there is a Imagemagick for the Jag tutorial in the programming section here, curtesy of Tursi). From there it's possible I could make my own high quality picture slideshow! for the Jag! - and make a 6MB skunk program or put it on a CD(would be pretty neat!)

These pictures I talk about can have way more resolution than the 320x240 Jaguar Max video capabilities! The Jagware guys did some high-res pictures of a Jaguar(bigcat) for the Jaguar on their site.

Cool.

Good luck learning how to display images on Jag via Skunk or CD. Sounds like something that wouldn't be too hard but I don't know the first thing about programming for the Jag. I guess it couldn't hurt to look for Tursi's tutorial and check it out!

Congratulations!

It´s a lot of money, though.
