Did anyone ever tried to do some programming with JVM? Anyone wish to share results of experiments?

That would be cool but I'm still wondering if anyone ever tried to program JVM?

I don't think so, there was just the Iron Soldier rumor but that was confirmed as false. Unless someone made an attempt and never said anything about it. walter.gif

I was wondering actually about programmers we have here. I guess TBird could not resist to try it out? Frog? Anyone?

I for one no longer have access to Jag modems. Once I repaired all the one's that I could get working again I gave them all back. I had no desire to keep one. After all that time I spent trying to fix them I didn't want to look at one ever again! But that's just me.

I see no practical purpose for the JVM anymore, not with High speed digital com

so cheao and available. spend the time designing a LAN kit...you do not need to even license MAC's anymore. Most chips now with built in LAN already have the MAC included and is part of the cost of the chip. THERE ARE NO LONGER ANY EXCUSES....however.Jaguar II, if it ever works will have a built in cablemodem.

Very good point. I just wonder did anyone really tried it out, found any bugs, limitation etc... it's part of Jag history after all.
